mur'phon
Not a terribly big fan of the gift bit of Christmas, mainly because it feels more like a duty than something you do because you care about someone. Anyway, having just moved to a room that didn't include the basic necessities, my haul was a bit predictable. Trip to Costa Rica a (low end) net book and a two DVD's + a ton of boring but necessary stuff like, kitchen utensils, blankets etc

Jae Onasi
Well, my 2.5 year old crappy HP laptop (DO NOT BUY HP LAPTOPS) died again, this time permanently, so Point Man bought me a new desktop (quad core, decent memory and hard drive) and set of speakers for it. He also got a nice video card, a set of pajamas, a couple books, and a pair of diamond earrings.
El Sitherino
Got this for future use in my travels through African and Asian brush, it's sooooo nice. It's very well made (It's a HanWei sword, after all) for the price and cuts through small trees quite easy, and I love the locking mechanism it has. I guess it's lucky I've been delayed in being shipped out, my Christmas went very well. I also got an asston of Martial Arts movies and another punching bag. Darth Avlectus
I got this year: A whole bunch of stuff. Clothes, accessories, money, tools, etc. The stuff you'd all be most interested in: Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil novel Green Laser Pointer Electric flyswatter A snuffing glass internally hand painted with dragons shone outward (looks asian) Bought myself: Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 4 (Yaaaay, I get to be Temari!!! *schemes*), Iron Maiden: Minutes to midnight CD, and a pair of Scott brand Snowboard gloves. In a few days I plan to get some new melee weapons and gear to use for Arnis/Eskrima sparring. And possibly start crafting another custom made lightsaber. What color--any suggestions? Lynk Former
My, that's quite a list. BluRays go for about $40 bucks a pop here. How much are they in oz? We have a retailer down here called JB HiFi that happens to sell cds, dvds, blurays, games, electronics of all kinds for very cheap. They also had a buy 2 get 1 free thing going on at the same time so I was able to get a lot of these for really cheap/free. That and I make a lot of moneys :D

Theyre extending their tendrils down here it seems; theres one JB HiFi store in Wellington. Been in it, but it just seemed like any other money milking chain store (like Dick Smiths for example). Perhaps i should have a closer look at JB though. Do you work at one of their stores?

No, I don't work there. I'd hate to work there cause you never get a chance to just sit back and do nothing for at least a couple of minutes. Over here JB HiFi sells stuff for extremely cheap and as a result, every single day their stores are always packed with huge crowds of people with very long lines at the checkout. They must be extremely profitable considering how much stock they get out the door each day, how low their prices are and how many customers they get coming through the door. Everyone loves JB down here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JB_Hi-Fi

JediAthos
I don't have pictures, but Ghostbusters and Wolfenstein for the 360, a new Sony Cybershot 12.1 megapixel camera, assorted clothes, and some cash. The one thing I didn't get that was high on my list was CoD Modern Warfare 2 so some of my cash will be going towards that. *edit* Also had the joy of watching my daughter open her first bike. The look on her face: priceless
