I'm no fan of her, but I doubt she's that stupid, though I wouldn't be surprised if she is. Speaking in practical terms, Palin is hurting her own party because she doesn't know much and always makes up bull**** (I believe she was the one who started the death panel rumor). Nah, that sounds like a gig for Oberman.......or even Trump if he were down on his luck. @TA--just saying that idiocy is to sweeping a statement. I agree she needs more polish if she wishes to go any farther (beyond political cheerleading). I guess I'd agree that if she could have gotten a bunch of suckers to handle her legal bills...like Bill and Hilary did...that stepping down was unnecessary. You don't have that luxury as a serious candidate for the presidency. And once any honeymoon period wears off.......it can be a real grind. Who knows, maybe she is the best mind of our generation. Well, I wouldn't go THAT far. I've just got no axe to grind w/her. Wouldn't upset me remotely if she chose to forgo any prez ambitions. American Idol judge may be a bit above her IQ range. They have to be able to form their own opinions, something clearly beyond Mrs. Palin’s natural abilities.
