Charlie Sheen sacked from Two and a Half Men

He was pretty much sacked after the radio comments from a week or so ago. Not overly smart to insult your boss on the radio. Better title would be Two and a Half Men sacked by Charlie Sheen because no matter how crazy Charlie Sheen appears he is correct in that that show could never go on without him.

Plus I don’t blame him for asking for a raise, do you know how expensive it is today to have two porn stars at your beck and call?

Well let me scrub my brain out with soap for that image mimartin.

Frankly I think someone needs to give a butt kicking to Sheen. He's been in trouble before and I seriously doubt that he would make a comeback. Plus he is a selfish bastard since he affected all the little peons who make the show possible besides his fellow actors.

"We need to cut off his face and wear it and go on a really tightly budgeted shopping spree in stores that don't exist yet." - Charlie Sheen on That Guy who makes his network connection fail.

When that's the most rational thing you say in a video, you're having problems.

Charlie Sheen is an addict. Sober he may be the most giving person in the world, but his addiction causes him to act like a jerk.

My real father was like that sober he was a great friend, dad and role model. Drunk…well as a drunk I did not see him the first 13 years of my life. :(

Actually, this is just getting good. He's been ****canned, and now we get to watch his downward spiral into oblivion. Now the real drama begins.

Will he make a recovery, or will he die convulsing in the gutter like River Phoenix? :ohdear:

Is fascination with celebrity train wrecks unique to America or do other parts of the "civilized" world get in on this kind of action too?

The last movie I saw Charlie Sheen in was Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I've only watched a few minutes of the sitcom series he just got fired from and obviously didn't find it of interest to me. Too bad Charlie Sheen's antics have impacted the livelihoods of the rest of the cast and crew for the show.

While my response isn't as intense as that, I never really got why the show is so popular...

Frankly, I don't understand how a lot of popular shows got that way. Most network tv sucks. As to Charlie, I guess his downward spiral will be more entertaining than his last role. Too bad for for the rest of the cast and crew that relied on that show for a paycheck.....but that's showbiz in all its ugliness.

He's a great example of why coke and meth should never be legalized.

But Charlie is a winner. I know it was on his tweet so it must be true.

Then again he may have been so high that he mistyped and meant to write “I’m a wiener.”

I'll grant you that much of the crew will need to find other work, yes, but I can't help but laugh at those who seem to think that the rest of the main cast will be in danger of living on the streets if they don't find work before long. Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake, has been making roughly $300,000 an episode for the last three years. He's the lowest paid actor on the show.

The cast will be just fine.

Duckie?

Yeah, he'll be fine, but has been and always will be Duckie to me.

Sheen on the other hand, as I saw Dr. Drew comment on in a plug for Celebrity Rehab, is going to wind up in a ditch somewhere. A shame, as he was really quite good for quite a long while. Waste of a perfectly good white boy.

I don't care for Charlie Sheen but I do like Charlie Harper. Two and a half man has been an orgasmic show for nearly a decade to me, always a good reason to laugh. Of course the TV moves on but I don't feel it was the show's time right now. Nevertheless, Sheen has dropped the ball. Again.

mimartin: I get where you're coming at with the addict tale. I have family who are recovering addicts and I remember the pain of that.

Still makes me wonder if the combination of drugs, alcohol and sex really messed Sheen up to the point where he just lost his marbles.

Who said anything about living in the streets? :raise: Or, for that matter, just the "main" cast? Most shows employ more than just 3 or 4 actors. I seriously doubt that many of the crew will be in the streets either as they are unionized and make pretty good money as a result. Still sucks, though, to have a narcissitic loser like Sheen prematurely take away your bread and butter.

Waste of a perfectly good white boy.

Wait. I thought that was John Cusack. :xp:
