mimartin
Actor Peter Falk dead at 83. He may have been best known as Columbo, but he will always be either the grandfather from The Princess Bride or Rocky Holzcek from Roommates to me.

acdcfanbill
Aww, this makes me sad. I was never a huge Columbo fan, but I rather liked Peter Falks work. My favorite role of his was as Max, assistant to Jack Lemmons Professor Fate in Black Edwards The Great Race. A great old slapstick comedy. "Push the button MAX!" Taak Farst
Amazing actor, utterly amazin. EDIT: "During a 2009 court trial over Falk's care, Dr Stephen Read stated that the actor's condition had deteriorated to the point where he could no longer remember the character of Columbo." that's on the Columbo wiki page. That's really upsetting. Imagine getting to such a bad state you can't remember the very thing that was a big part of your life for near on 40 years? Bob Lion54
Awww, that sucks. Peter Falk was great. I might have to pick up the Princess Bride on Blu-Ray now. Columbo is such a classic character, too. One of the best cop shows of its time. R.I.P Mr. Falk

ChAiNz.2da
RIP Mr. Falk... Agreed mimartin, While he was best known for Columbo.. I'll always consider him "grandfather" of The Princess Bride. I always wished they had him (Falk) narrate the audio book instead of Rob Reiner... would've bought it in an instant.

Astor
I knew he'd been suffering for a while, but this is still sad. He's obviously Columbo, but I'll still remember him as he was in the first film I saw him in. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
