Da_man Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 ^: My congrats, man. THat is feat worthy of being called awesome. Is your warranty expired on it though? It should be now.
Boba Rhett Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Dunno. I bought it used from someone else. Even if it was, I really really didn't feel like waiting.
Tyrion Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Bonus Points: I did the second half with almost zero light because I had to put the little man to sleep. Let me rephrase that. I had to put my nephew to sleep. What darkness, quiet, and a half hour can do to mollify a child, a blunt object and a New York minute can do equally as well.
leXX Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 MrWally, your nieces are too cute. ^^ Rhett, well done. Here, have a cookie. I heard Hellboy 2 was awesome, so before I see it, I thought I better get the first one... Been reading the manga of Death Note and it deserves all the hype. One of the best mangas I've read, so I thought I'd get the live action film and check it out.
Pie™ Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I heard Hellboy 2 was awesome, so before I see it, I thought I better get the first one... I actually liked the first one, since it was so over the top cheesy and tongue-in-cheek, but I was horribly disappointed after watching the sequel. There was so many facepalm-moments that I wanted to walk out of the theater at times, and that almost never happens to me. I'm now worried about Del Toro directing The Hobbit.
MrWally Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 @ Pie: While I didn't see Hellboy 2, I am not worried about Del Toro directing The Hobbit, because the film will still be written by Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, the same team that lead the LOTR movies, and with them behind a wheel I can't see anything going wrong. In my opinion their writing with Del Toro's artistic style makes for a great film. @ Lexx: Thanks. They are cute And also, Deathnote is aboslutely fantastic, but I heard that the live action film was just horrible. Let me know what you think. If I were you I'd just get all of the t.v. shows and watch them through... it's quite the experience.
TiE23 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Now do Thrasher and get top score... Yeah, not so hot now. :V
BongoBob Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 TiE you can't even finish Thrasher (to my knowledge at least) so I shall respond for et by telling you to shove it :V
PR-0927 Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Yummah'. Although, I did just get a brand new totally beast gaming computer. Built it myself to save good money. That above feature was the last component to ship, and, in turn, be installed, yet it is my favorite part. - PR-0927
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 an excellent card that deserves more than the drivers ati releases for it :/
BongoBob Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Very bad thing: Ripping my copy of FFVIII to use on my hacked PSP, playing for 3 hours straight, and finding out that a defect in my disk was keeping an FMV from running. Very bad thing: Spending around 9 hours straight tracking down the problem and trying every fix, only to have my hopes and dreams crushed. Very good thing: Finally finding a rip online that works perfectly and works with my save, allowing me to once again enjoy FFVIII wherever I please

Took your advice and after watching a couple of video clips, decided they were a must buy... Only 1 & 2 are out over here atm, 3 is pre-ordered. :/

leXX Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 See now it's this kind of thing that makes me feel old. I've been driving for 20 years and most of you are only now just getting your licence. :/

BongoBob Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Yet. Give it time. In other news, I might have a puppy in a week or so... (that's me on the left kissin the puppy, and my friend anthony holdin him) Customer found him weaving in and out of traffic on one of the busiest streets I know of, and she managed to coax him near her and got him in her car and brought him with her to her oil change appointment. After a while he calmed down and started loosening up and he kept coming back to me, so she said she was going to take him into her vet and have him checked for a chip, cause he didn't have a collar, but he was in good shape, pretty clean coat, nails weren't long. So if she can't find the owner in a week, then I might have a puppeh
MrWally Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Yay Bongo! That puppy is adorable! =] I hope you get to take it home!
BongoBob Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 UPDATE: Woot, da puppy's comin home with me tomorrow She took him into her vet and had him de-wormed and got his shots, and the vet said he was 8-10 months old, and is Beagle with cocker-spanial and chihuaha. Unfortunately, he was not chipped, and said he wasn't taken care of too well, and even showed some signs of abuse (was cowering whenever his feet came near to him, like he had been kicked ). So tomorrow I get to bring home da puppy and see how well he interacts with the dog we already have, a miniature ****zu.
