@stoffe--you are fabulous and truly understand the concept of 29 forever-ness. @DarkLady--I love the geometric proof. I'm going to have to remember that one. :D

 

@Emperor Devon--my mostest nemesis, roll a save vs. Force Apocalypse. Loved the camper and the 4 Horsemen pics. :rofl:

 

@TSR--Why do you think I made up Hotel Asylum? :p

 

@Ztalker--hehe, I feel 29!! And anyone under 20 _is_ a baby. ;P

 

@Astro and Mace--yeah, we were around when rocks were soft and dirt was still in beta-testing. But hey, we're old enough to remember CHiPs, the A-Team, and Miami Vice and what Star Wars looked like in the theater. The first time it ran. :lol:

 

Thank you all--it promises to be an, uh, interesting day, I'm sure, since I don't know what the family has in the plans.... :giggle1:

Yes, I feel sorry for anyone who never experienced this :violin:

 

1980..ESB at a local drive in with my cousin and his girlfriend. I remember it very clearly....I was 5 years old then and for the whole movie I was sitting on/near my cousins car in the lot with 4 other kids I knew from my street.

 

When Vader dropped the bombshell, a fight broke out between all 5 of us - it was just that hot a topic !! Some were in obvious denial(Luke fans), and others like me thought that it was 'grouse' (aussie slang for 'great') because Luke was such a wimp and cleary had his a$$ kicked by Vader :)

 

sigh, Those were the days :violin:

Then you are probably "a few days" older than me. I only remember seeing ROTJ in theaters...the other episodes were already in Betamax format when my parents decided that I was old enough to watch them :p

anyway I was checking like fury to see if i shared it with any regular visitor, but i don't. So no repetitions of Mac's and Snafu's day :xp: Although, Newbie wan kenobi might get one just for the pure awesomness of his name...
