TSR
"...so long, farewell, auf wiedersehn goodbye..." The time has come fellow ahtonauts, the rodian is shipping out to basic training in 2 weeks. I've decided to take my leave now for numerous reasons. (partly because i don't want to suffer withdrawal symptons ) Anyway, so i'm going to (hopefully) finish off my fanfic come then, and then i won't be back on for an unknow period of time. if i do come back, yuo can expect to see a more mature, older rodian who might actually post something worth reading for once . Kudos to all the people i chat with on MSN, i should still get on that from time to time and let you knbow how its going. Now, here comes the sentimental bit: For my dearest Herbie: Thanks for the good laughs mate, and you better have actually updated your fic by the time i get back keep it real. RC-1162: Have a good one, and i hope the move goes well (if you do, of course) Sabretooth: I want you to be a little britain expert by the time i get back, after all that youtube linkage i gave you Jae Onasi: Cheers for being so...welll...cool. You're by far the best 40 29 year old I've ever slightly know. RJM: What can i say... have fun, your mojo-terrificness. ED- If you and Jae havnt actually had your Duel because of all your stupid flaming traps you keep putting down, i will crash your RPG and personally kill you myself. If you have, i want you to have unleashed some major ownage for me Pottsie- Keep up the good work on your fic's moiyt, and good luck with you're GCSE's. Samandmax&jmac- Despite our little fall out in the RD forums, I;m cool with you. keep up your whatever it is you do... ChAinz.2da- Legend. Prime; I want to see a "cutest C3-PO in the world"! Or maybe even a "Worlds cutest but not quite super rodian in the world!" outfits, if you wouldnt mind Darth333- Chase Windu- you f*****g wrench boy, for f**k sake stop f*****g swearing all the time. that f*****g clear? To everyone else- Cheers for just being who you are. Thats whats made LF the great place it is. Good luck in the future to everyone, and i want to see each and everyone of you still here this time next year Non-fanfic related posting for the last time, yours truly TSR. Jae Onasi
Tips for surviving the military: 1. Never argue with the Drill Sergeant. They are always right. 2. Should you think the Drill Sergeant is wrong, see number 1. 3. It is wise not to attract attention of the Drill Sergeant in a negative way. It is a Good Thing, however, to work hard, do your best, and attract the attention of the Drill Sergeant in a good way. 4. Save often and in different slots. 5. You should have only 6 words in your repetoire during basic training: "Yes, Drill Sergeant!" and "No, Drill Sergeant!" Anything else is superfluous. 6. Don't argue with the Drill Sergeant. 7. Do everything the Drill Sergeant says, even if you think you can't. You might surprise yourself at what you can actually do. 8. Start running and doing push-ups now so you get in shape, unless you already are, in which case, get in better shape. 9. The pugil stick is not a lightsaber. 10. Don't try to wimp out on anything. Do your best. 11. The Drill Sergeant is always right. If you have any doubts about that, see number 1.
JediMaster12
Yes follow orders. It could mean the difference between life and death. Always remember that you watch the back of the man next to you and he will watch yours. Good luck soldier.
Rogue15
lol here's a few tips tip #1: wear a shirt that says NAVY the day you leave MEPS tip #2: always refer to your drill sergeant with 'yes, sir!' tip #3: salute officers with your left hand, ncos with your right hand tip #4: wear your hat backwards indoors, front outdoors ok now for some real tips (btw i was in basic training feb 2k4, failed PT test and weapons qualification, got me ELS'd....since then i've wanted to go back, just trying to find what MOS i want, and what time is best considering my family prolly be devestated again but wha-ever) heed these tips, and you will not fail: Tip #1: Do 200 pushups a day, on your own in reps of 10-20 Tip #2: Run the stairs as often as they'll let you Tip #3: Skip sunday services (unless its extremely important to ya) and get permission to run the track Tip #4: Listen to everything they say about the M16 and how to shoot, and definetely CLEAN YOUR WEAPON AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE, EVEN IF IT IS NOT CLEAN, THIS WILL KEEP IT FROM ****ING UP ON WEAP QUAL DAY ASSUMING YOU ARE A GOOD SHOT!!!) Tip #5: Stay away from the whiny emo crybabies. If you end up rooming with them and learn they don't want to be in the Army, tell your squad leader/platoon guide/drill sergeant (in that order til the whiny bast is gone or you're in a different room) Tip #6: Don't write too many letters, don't write them while pretending to take a crap either. Tip #7: Use the latrine whenever you get a chance. Tip #8: Drink water whenever you are able to. At chow, drink as much as 4 glasses of powerade/gatorade, and be sure to eat everything on your plate (when you're able to, first 3 weeks you dont get too much time to eat, don't let that bother you, after week 4 they let you have more time) Tip #9: Do not EVER EVER EVER say 'i don't give a ****' EVER. got it? Tip #10: Don't go to sick call unless it's for yourself and it's SERIOUS. otherwise you'll be ****ed out of good training (well the first 2 weeks go there all ya want, the classes are nothing but brainwashing the kids that grew up on mtv) Tip #11: Don't quit. I did (i signed papers anyways..) and I've regretted it every day since then. It was a lonely world for me before I joined, and it's been even lonelier since I quit. Anyways, I wish you well, and hope you have the best time of your life out there. If you get cold, drink more water. I will be praying for you. Emperor Devon
ED- If you and Jae havnt actually had your Duel because of all your stupid flaming traps you keep putting down, i will crash your RPG and personally kill you myself. If you have, i want you to have unleashed some major ownage for me Don't worry, Jae's dead meat on a stick. You'll be too if you ever try to hunt me down. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. For doing well in the military, the only other advice I have is to make a good impression (aka brown-nosing! ). Address NCOs and up as "sir" (even though you don't always have to) and go on about how great your country is, how it's an honor to serve, blah blah blah. I hope you do well, and don't get shot or something.
TSR
Argh, i read your replies and i couldnt help myself from making one last non CEC post before i take my leave... @sabretooth- Nope, it's not a joke, i'm gonna be gone for an unstated period of time. could be anywhere beween 8 weeks to 22 years, but what the hell. @Doctor- yes, i do plan on returning, but i have no idea when @Ztalker- I think i'm going to christen him...fred... @Milo- Ditch the black hair dye, the razors blades and the emo poses and you'll do fine... @Itchy- When will you realise that kashyyyk is not in texas? Kudos to the sword pic though. @CSI:N- Thats what i plan on doing @Herbiez- Yus, the hardcore posting has been a sort of "go, go, go!" for me. I was trying to get bored of the place by being the only one that was posting loads... @Mace- yes, those rowing boats and 50yr old RPGS are highly dangerous these days, posing a dangerous threat to submarines... Seriously, thanks for the support moyt. @Jae- Tip no.9 has just shattered my dreams :| @ED- for some reason, i hope i don't get shot either And i think you are forgetting that no amount of character sheets or "unlimited powa!" can stop a..."stray"... tomahawk missile @Rogue- I've been doing about 100 a day for the past year, and absolutely pnwt the fitness exam...And in england infantry/marines basic rifle is the L85A1 sadly, i won't get much use out of it if i get the position i want, but if i do... *rubs hands and looks around shadily* @JM12- Cheers moyt. The first comment will throw a spanner in someones works, i can assure you You don't realise how happy that made me. Thanks mate @LDB- yeah, you better still be around when i get back... @Davinq- No more getting grounded/running away from home/going to moon brb mmk? @Hallucination- I'm gonna keep the av, but i might change it a bit incorpoarte all the seasonal celebrations i'm going to miss around this place... And keep up the grammar Nazi act @Topshot- Wicked in the Poster above thread, keep at it. Ceeya around. @Joshi= Pure awesomness. Although i'm still not buying any of your t-shirts @Jimmy- Yup. Keep up the hardcore greenday fanness @Redhawke- ace TSL mods, although i was a bit confuddled that they were all "Fair" as such, what with none of them allowing lvl99 characters on peragus and whatnot... @Astro- Keep it up, you freakin tech nerd. And i'll e-mail you my nicely updated lvl 20 orc, which now comes with master everything And, its real... T7Nowhere- Great TSL mods. Now, before i go i want one that grants me what Redhawke did not allow...(see above ) @MACHINECULT I didnt know you posted here, you b*stard. Fine, cheers for being so...British... Keep supressing the n00bs, you'll do fine. Do i get a last request? I'm sure that darth333 wil allow it, what with being similar to an evil pirate in herself... MC for republic commando moderator! i mean, c'mon, pad's last post was about 2 months ago for christs sake... That place is anarchy. OK, unless someone makes a comment that i just cant resist saying something too, i'll be back. If not, i'll be updating my fic roughly twice a week , so comments would be nice Anyway, thanks to all of you for your support and i'll seeya around Kudos edit---No! i'm going to miss the ahto awards 2006!?!?! Can we hold it early....pwease?

Tip #5: Stay away from the whiny emo crybabies. If you end up rooming with them and learn they don't want to be in the Army, tell your squad leader/platoon guide/drill sergeant (in that order til the whiny bast is gone or you're in a different room) He's joining the Royal Navy, so there are no M16's and no emo crybabies (for at least two weeks.)
