Take two: Mods of the Year, nominations (2009)

Some

between members of staff bogged down the last thread so here's take two.

Another year has gone by and with it comes the usual "Mod of the Year" competition with all the pomp, circumstance, and tearful smiles that it brings. As in previous years, the selection of the top mod will be performed in two stages: nominations, here, and voting for both the KotOR and TSL top mods will begin once nominations have closed. Once the polls have closed, the top 10 mods selected for KotOR and TSL this year will be featured on a special page at StarWarsKnights.com and, should the authors wish it, the mods themselves will be hosted at the site to ensure their continuing availability.

This exciting thread forms the first part of that process.

Mods of the Year, nominations (2009)

To nominate a mod you think deserves the accolade of "Mod of the Year" simply post its name in this thread. You may nominate one mod for KotOR and one mod for TSL, and they must both have been publicly released here at LucasForums in 2009. Please provide a link to the "Taris Upper City Emporium" thread(s) for the mod(s) which you nominate. Nominations will remain open for one week from today (25/01/2010) before the thread will be locked by a glamorous assistant and we move onto the second stage.

Because I felt this needed re-stating in the OP itself. ;) -RH

Edit: If a Mod has already been nominated would strongly suggest nominating another mod which has yet to be nominated. Otherwise I can forsee KotOR ending up with Just Brotherhood of Shadow in the poll :xp: Or The Sith Lords with Darth Stoneys TSLRCM - Nominating is different to voting....

Please also in the nomination thread, write out the full name of the mod you are nominating, so others can see which mods have already been nominated! -- j7

Brotherhood of Shadows Solomon's Revenge

That pretty much sums up k1...

EDIT:

Due to the change to pick one for both games:

Not to be an attention hog for my own team, but for TSL I would choose Full Force Mod. I would choose TSLRCM, but its not finished, but a public beta version.

Hmm, I would have to say TSLRCM for TSL, and BOSSR for Kotor. Reason why is TSLRCM gave me back the true TSL :)

It's really great that you can read;

Does M4-78 count for TSL, if so i'm voting for that.

No it doesn't it was released in 2008.

Don't know if it was made this year, but if it was, I nominate Trex's The Jedi Master Story Conversion mod. The gameplay and storyline were phenominal, even if it isn't how I would personaly want cannon to be.

Yes it was released in 2009 here is release thread; Click Me

Right, seriously guys, can some of you not read? I'm gonna stick this in a huge big green font so you don't miss it.

a) Find the release thread in TUCE and link to it in this thread.

b) The post date of the first post in the thread will reveal the release date letting you know if a mod was released in 2009.

I will remind you yet again - YOU ARE MEANT TO LINK TO THE MOD. The instructions aren't hard... Follow them! -- j7

Not really sure I understand the instructions, but I will give it my best shot. That bold lime green is a little hard on my delicate eyes.

TSL: Fabulous Robes of Darth Sex the M;an)d'a(lo+r by Darth InSidious with special help from jonathan7, Astor Kaine and jmac (AKA Det. Bart Lasiter). The perfect rode for those Mandalorians with discriminating taste.

Thanks for linking to KotOR Files, that's not at all helpful;

a) Find the release thread in TUCE and link to it in this thread.

Your inability to read, is really quite epic, not only did you managed to not follow the instructions in the OP, you then manage to not read the MASSIVE LIME green font. You then proceed to question me, not understanding that I would have removed any mention of in-eligible mods so not to confuse people reading the thread... Thats what <snipped> means.

Please link to the Mods release threads here in TUCE (hint Taris Upper City Emporium... I.E. NOT KotOR Files, which is in NO way affiliated with Lucas Forums!) -- j7
