So we've got two KotOR games and a number of Jedi classes to pick from.

Which one of the classes listed in the poll do you most identify with?

Which one most closely matches your real-life personality?

As a reminder I've posted excerpts from game dialogs that describe the nature of the classes.

Jedi Consular: This Jedi seeks to bring balance to the universe. They mediate between other groups, using their powers to end conflict and preserve peace.

Jedi Guardian: This Jedi battles against the forces of evil and the dark side. They focus more on combat training and use of the lightsaber.

Jedi Sentinel: This Jedi ferrets out deceit and injustice, bringing it to light. They focus less on combat and more on other skills and abilities.

-Master Dorak

Jedi Master: Or perhaps your way lies upon the ancient mysteries... and to teach others the ways of the Force, as I have, the way of the Jedi Masters.

Jedi Watchman: Or perhaps it is investigating the mysteries of the galaxy, seeking out injustice and harm, and bringing it into the light? Such is the way of the Jedi Watchmen in the time of Ulic Qel-Droma... and Exar Kun

Jedi Weapon Master: Is it battle that stirs you, to meet an enemy blade upon blade? Such is the way of the greatest of Jedi warriors, the weapon masters.

Sith Assassin: Or is it the ways of darkness and shadow that you seek, the power that comes from striking unseen and sensing weaknesses in others... the ways of the assassins of the Sith.

Sith Lord: Or perhaps your way lies with the Sith... and the heart of their darkness. To recognize what strength is, and bring that strength to those that follow you... and those that defy you. The way of a Sith Lord.

Sith Marauder: Is it battle that stirs you, to meet an enemy blade upon blade? Such is the way of the greatest of the Sith Marauders, who seek strength in war... and their rage.

I enjoy being a Consular/Master or Consular/Sith Lord, depending on what mood I'm in while I'm playing. Casting force storm repeatedly to kill a roomful of opponents just never gets old.

I'm usually on the light side, though. You have to play the dumb thug too much to reach dark mastery.

I've tried Consular/Weapon Master a couple of times. Master Force Focus combined with all those cool Weapon Master feats is a deadly combination. Too overpowered, perhaps, for vanilla TSL.

In KotOR 1 I was always a Consular.

I'm a Consular/Weapon Master. Strike fast and hard first to destroy the enemy. And if they plan to drag it out, use the force to assist. But if I choose one, then it would be Jedi Master. First, I always go the light path, and second, I prefer force over weapons. But I do make sure that my strength is 18 so that I can defend myself physically.

I'd probably be same as Prime, with some Guardian/Weapon Master mix, but also with a mix of a Jolee attitude. I do what I'm told, but usually not without some reservation or debate in my mind, and I tend to be a bit hot tempered and would rush into things… tell you one thing, I definetly would have rushed off to the Mandalorian War, I wouldn't be capable of just sitting and watching.

I'm like ChAiNz in that I don't really identify with any of the D20 based classes...

Though in the SW D6 RPG system my Character Template would likely be initially a Quixotic Jedi. ;)

The D6 system really is a better fit for SW, IMO...

Words of wisdom...

Does that include tilting at Super Star Destroyers? :)

Hmm... well I'd first go and visit the Golden Sun on the planet Sedri, and then need about 1,000 or so Character Points (Around 50-150 game sessions) then yes! :D

I kind of prefer the "Grand Poobah" class, all others are restrictive.

Then you sir need the older WEG Star Wars D6 System...

Here you go...

I so love the D6 RPG you can make a character template for anything. :D

Sith Lord, of course! Not only are there all those awesome Force powers (much better than lightsabers, thank you very much), you get to wear hooded bathrobes in public and cackle like a madman! Not to mention the life-extending powers the dark side grants...

In reality, I think I would choose a cross between Sith Lord and a class of my own. I'm a bit on the egotistical side, but being a Sith Lord for decades could suck the pleasure out of nearly every event. Has anyone ever heard of a happy Sith Lord?
