We all remember the old games...

When there was actually gameplay included not just graphics and lights...

Which old systems and/or games do you still have?

And also, do you still play them?

I still have the original Dark Forces, the original JK, the Rebel Assault games and I also still play my old Sega Megadrive/Sega Geneses games. (though these I play on the Laptop.

What golden titles of old do you still have?

Holy cow, where do I begin?

I have all the ones that u listed (except for the Sega games).

I also have the old skool Super Nintendo with the Mario games and THE ART OF FIGHTING (one of the classic fighting games), Dragon's Lair, Duke Nukem, Mortal Kombat...

Its kinda weird that I have any of these games considering that i was born in the early nineties and grew up with the PlayStation One days but I still manage to find time (mostly during the summer) to play them.

I'm gonna go dig in my basement for some more titles...

I still have my Sega Genesis and it works, after that I had Playstation but that doesn't work anymore...But I have Wii so I have some games from the Virtual Console. Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Super Castlevania IV, Sonic 2, and Mario Kart 64.

I'm pretty sure Rebel Assault 2 is still at my house, and I have X-Wing and TIE Fighter also for oldschool SW games.

We had an old Nintendo the NES 8bit or was 16 bit.

With Mario and TopGun.

Never bought other games for it, but we had a shop close by who rented games. So we just frequently went over there to try out differant kinds of games.

Best memories go to Ninja Turtels game,GhostBusters and Gremlins.

For my first old PC, I got Dark Forces, Jedi Academy, Tie Fighter (which I lost somehow :( ), Grand Prix 2, which still works on XP but the Framerate goes way to high its like on overdrive :p

Little Big Adventure 2, Team Hospital, Dungeon Keeper ! StarCraft ! the Old Warcraft 2, Diablo, Midtown Madness, Doom... and Tomb Raider.

Men looks like I've got more then I thought I'd had.

Ok...I'm back from mining my basement and guess what i found?

The good old game boy color along with Pokemon Blue and Red and Yellow.

Although they might have been childish, they set off a new era of gaming IMO and eventually led to all the hitech PSP's and DS's that we have today.

I still have my SNES and I still play Zelda: A Link to the Past on it every now and then.

I still have my copies of the original (CGA graphics!) Prince of Persia and Mech Warrior buried somewhere...

First game I ever played was Sonic on a hand-me-down Genesis. I miss that old thing. And I found a way to play old DOS games on my computer so I've been playing Oregon Trail just for the memories.

... Oh, and I still play the Pokemon games on my old gameboy color (or Advance SP) when I'm really bored. It's a reliving my childhood thing.

Wasn't 8-bit color fun?

Still have my NES hooked up. I've got Mario 1 2 & 3, Contra, Skate or Die, Castlevania, Ninja Turtles, Zelda, Mike Tysons Punch Out, & a few more but still in a box from a move.

For PC; Rebel Assault 1 & 2, Dark Forces 1 & 2, found a copy of Rebellion. Yeah all of my old PC games are SW.

PC retro annoys me, with its ugliness and pixelly crapness.

But I like the old console stuff, alot of which you can play on a DS nowdays. I love the DS/GBA sonic games, and stuff like mario hoops is fun. Ive also been kickin much ass in ping pong in mario vs sonic olympic games.. Nothing cooler than using "Tails" to wipe the floor with all those despicable Nintendo characters. :p

Heres me dressed as tails[on R] a recent picnic <SUPER AWESOMO-RU!!>

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Still got a copy around here that runs on DOS. Whether it'll run on this new box or not... May have to work on that.

how about you just play the java based edition on Douglas Adams website

http://www.douglasadams.com/creations/infocomjava.html

or the snazzy illustrated edition on the BBC website ;)

My N64's still hooked up, right beside the PS2. My sisters play the N64 all the time, still. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Smash Bro.s were awesome. I still play the original Super Smash Bro.s every once in a while.

I also was hooked on Pokemon Blue....

Most of my oldest games, though, were Learning Company or Mecc titles like Math Blaster or Oregon Trail. Oh, and I also have The Island of Dr. Brain.

Recently, however, I've been getting old DOS classics that are abandonware and playing them with DosBox. System Shock, for example.

Old games... Battle Chess. Some times I lose my knight just for the fun of the scene.

I still have Combat™ somewhere. I think my dad may have it in his storage... along with my 2600... and my 800. I know I have Zork somewhere, and I would have monkey island, but I lost the wheel...
