I'm by no means a fan of Christianity. Not in the slightest. Still, I was under the impression that metaphorical meanings were the name of the game when it comes to the bible. I doubt it means to literally drink from your own "cistern" or "well", but rather has another meaning of self-reliance or something Christian that I'm not even gonna bother pretending to care about.

Those things about burying your nocturnal emissions outside of the camp, not getting to go to heaven with mutilated testicles, and putting gays to death are pretty clear though.

Don't forget the part that other cultures are heathens and need to be forced to heed the word of the Christian God or suffer a painful death, or that women are at fault for ruining paradise.

Except its fluid like nature :xp:

So are a few other things we may or may not drink. ;P

@Adavardes--the verse is saying "don't steal water from your neighbor"--an important concept in a desert culture.

Samnmax--if you could find the verses where those things are specified, I'd appreciate it. I don't believe I've read any of those, though I may have missed them.

You know, I began to think about it, and drinking pee isn't all that bad. I mean if it's a last resort in an area devoid of water, I know survival books do say that drinking your pee could be a saving motion. So if that verse means what we think it means, it's not all that off of what's needed to survive in a bad situation....BUT ONLY AS A LAST RESORT! {I hope:D}

Heheh, very hilarious verse, Astor! Good one!:D
