I have to mention this, Max Payne 2 is hilarious because of its three incredibly awesome TV segments, Address Unknown, Dick Justice and Lords and Ladies. But since rest of the game is srs bsns, here's the funny:

Also, that scene that breaks the fourth wall in Max Payne is an absolute classic.

But after playing the game for a while and hearing the same segment ~20 times, it gets really annoying and the first thing that you want to do is turn that **** off as soon as you enter a building with a radio.

What they needed was more segments. A lot more.

A hacked rom of donkey kong for the NES platform called "pink floyd the wall".

I'm not even gonna point you in the direction of it because it is just so wrong...and I have found out linking to sites with roms is a nono. Google it, find an emulator and whatever tools...and have fun if you care to participate. It is hilarious.

There's not much to disagree with on Sabretooth's list and his following post about Max Payne 1&2 (though I've not played Mario & Luigi or Portal). Psychonauts has been the cleverest, funniest and just all-round genius game I've played in years, and though my adolescent years are telling me I'd be betraying them to do so, I kinda wanna place it above Monkey Island 1 & 2. The original Sam & Max has to in my list, Armed & Dangerous would be in there too (darn, but LA seem to have cornered this market), and then some of the older and lesser known UK development scene for C64 and Amiga, games like Cannon Fodder, Simon The Sorcerer, C.R.E.A.T.U.R.E.S 1&2 (not the AI game of the later 90's, these were sideways-scrolling platform games with a pretty twisted sense of humour and torture screen puzzles which were absolutely brilliant) and lots of other point & click and text-based adventures. Also, Z, Z:Steel Soldiers and many of the Dizzy games, all from Codemasters but spanning two decades and various platforms. I've got a feeling I've forgotten a bunch of others, but that probably means they wouldn't be so humorous if I played them again now.

The VTM Bloodlines radio is great, but I agree that there's nothing like enough of it, plus most of it can be found for real on late-night shortwave (and that's not to diss late-night shortwave as such, but some of the callers... and hosts...). Never got round to playing Giants, Boba Rhett, would you consider it still worth playing, humour aside? I always meant to get it, but never did.

Speaking of funny extras in a game, Vampire the Masquerade's radio is the funniest I've ever heard in any game

The TV segments were funny, too, especially since they'd change as you advanced through the game. It was especially funny if you played as a Malkavian, since there were extra segments just for you.

Yes, the Malk segments are awesome, and took me completely by surprise because I avoided the VtM:B thread here like the plague before I played the game, and therefore got the full effect. :D

I'd have to say that, overall, VtM:B is probably the funniest game I've ever played. Now I want to go play it again when I should be testing all of my old games for Vista compatibility.
