Tobias Reiper Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 In this town, don't we love it now, everybody's waiting for the next surprise! That's right, it's just about Halloween right now where I live, so, what are you gonna dress as, if anything, and what are you gonna do (Parties, ToT, Give out candy)? Personally I chose to dress as one of my favorite game characters: Spy. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Dark, mysterious, and of course crab-like, the Spy is my perfect costume. I'll probably do the crab walk and stop at some houses to Trick or Treat, and stab all with my homemade Spy Knife (fake of course) as soon as they turn their backs!
Darth Avlectus Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I've put most other stuff on hold. I'm balancing publishing my first chapter of Darth Sion: Wrought of torment by tomorrow, Finishing my sith marauder costume and my custom lightsaber, all for Halloween. Plus I'm falling behind on my modding projects!
Pavlos Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I don't do Halloween; I'm British. But if I did, I'd probably go as St. Thomas Aquinas. (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
Alkonium Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Well, there was a party at my residence on Thursday (I'm in uni), saw Rocky Horror and played Dead Space last night, and I'm going trick or treating with the rest of my house. Also, I am The Doctor:
Astor Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I don't do Halloween; I'm British. Quite. It annoys me that i'm labled as a killjoy by many of the parents in my neighbourhood, simply for refusing to buy into the 'Halloween Spirit', and buy sweets to hand out. I don't consider four hoodies in bin bags with a bottle of vodka to be 'adorably costumed'. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) I don't like having to put that notice in my window, but I will until trick or treaters get the message - I haven't got a problem with children enjoying themselves - so as long it doesn't bother me. Anyways, I hope that all those who believe and indulge in such things have a safe and happy halloween!. EDIT: Pav, I often wished to do that, but 'common assault' looks bad on a CV.
JuniorModder Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Well, there was a party at my residence on Thursday (I'm in uni), saw Rocky Horror and played Dead Space last night, and I'm going trick or treating with the rest of my house. Also, I am The Doctor: Awesome costume! Be careful when you get outside though. Remember this: "DON'T BLINK!" JuniorModder
Rogue15 Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 zombie/experimental soldier... i'll post a pic in a few, waiting for the first set of blood to dry then going to apply more blood.
Jae Onasi Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 My son is going as a pumpkin slasher, my daughter is a cat. I'm going to be 'napping person recovering from surgery'. I'm feeling quite a bit better, even went out to dinner last night (although all I could eat was mashed potatoes and jello), but it was nice to get out of the house. I'm looking forward to seeing what the kids are going to be wearing.
swphreak Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 I'm skipping the distributors and going straight to the supplier.
Litofsky Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 If (we're) sitting here replying, what do you think?
JuniorModder Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I wore my $150 Gryffindor Robes from Whimsic Alley. Boo yea! And plus, I look just like Harry, and I wear glasses (albeit not perfectly circular). I wasn't going Trick-or-Treating this year (I'm 13), but When my 2 year old brother begged me to go, well.. It was fun! JuniorModder
LordOfTheFish Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I mooched off my little brothers candy! Woot! But I'm watching scary movies to make Halloween semi-fun to me. So far "Halloween H20" is crap... Bram Stroker's "Dracula" is good, and "Night of the Living Dead" is a classic.
zelda 41 Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I went Trick or Treating with some friends. Had a good time, despite almost getting hit by a car. >.>' The parents questioned us with our looming tallness.
Samnmax221 Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Well had I done anything, I'd have probably violently ended some Twilight fans.
JediAthos Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 Took my princess and my monkey out trick or treating and got another year older
jawathehutt Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I pitched in to the estate alcohol trust stock fund which ended up being about $200 in addition to the fleischmanns+ franzia + sierra mist mixture(super champagne) that my friend and I made. I dont actually remember what happened at the party but Im in my room some how with numbers from people Im afraid to call. Oh and I was a soviet lumberjack which fell apart after the second cub of super champagne
Darth Avlectus Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 It is now 2:07 AM up here in NV/CA ish... I just spent my night out...I had sushi... I had skittles and beer...I went to a rock club which was fun... Gambled, spent $10 and 30 minutes, and I only lost 30 minutes and came out no better. I shoulda stopped when it was up to $14.50... Went to another nightclub only to find that pretty much everyone was taken and the music sounded like butt...went to yet another one, and it was errm, full of slightly older folks... and yet still another that was snooty which I got bored of real quick... I ate at the casino joint a chicken burger fries and shake (and feel sick to my stomach still hours later as I type), hung out with homeboys and homegirls, Karaoke ending with me actually singing Blink 182's "I wanna **** a dog" song...puked my guts out on the way to my car...went home. My sith outfit didn't work out so I just took my tattered guild clothes and added chains looking like some barbaric, timeless biker ish headbanger with police combat boots. Darth Sion: Wrought of torment is coming when its done (proofread and edited). Enough of my bitching. I'm woozy and going to bed (night-night). Hope y'all had a good nite. Much love goes out to my LF family. L83r yo.
Jae Onasi Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 We had so many kids come by yesterday that we actually ran out of candy, so we had to shut down early. However, my kids went trick-or-treating with some friends, and came home with a huge haul. I spent the evening checking 2 pillowcases full of candy to make sure it was fine. My son, who must be an alien because he doesn't like chocolate, gave me all his chocolate goodies for when I can actually eat something besides baby food in a few weeks. My sister came up this weekend to stay and help me out a bit around the house, and after dinner she popped in "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", and then we spent about 3 hours playing Rock Band 2. We had a great time together.
jrrtoken Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I handed out razor blade-embedded candy bars and cocaine-laced peanuts to kids. So, yes, I had a very good time.

Det. Bart Lasiter Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 a friend and i threw on some oversized coats, set up our amps outside and jammed while handing out candy. we started off with some blues, then i just played obnoxious slide guitar through a crybaby into a chorus effect over a funky bassline until i messed around enough and ended up with a cool billy gibbons-ish sound and the blues got a hold of me. then she made indian food and we watched the 2 am airing of glenn beck because he is insane.
