I can't believe there is no thread for The Dark Knight here. Either that, or it didn't noticed it when I did a search. Twas here ~tk

Oh, my bad. :S Ah well....

Whatever. Honestly, I haven't been more excited for a movie since probably Casino Royale. I've already bought my tickets for the midnight screening next week. So, now all I have to do it wait till then. :p But, I will be going to watch Batman Begins and Gotham Knight before I go see it. :D

Here is a link for some vids and clips from The Dark Knight. Although, I do suggest you don't watch them if you don't want to spoil anything.

Also check out the website

for The Dark Knight if you just want to see the trailers.

Thoughts?

I never got a chance to see Batman Begins, but I just rented it earlier today, and plan on watching it this week to get myself ready. I can't wait. :D

The main reason is because of Heath Ledger. He looks like he's going to be ****ing amazing as the Joker.

Why so serious? :xp:

Mmmyeah.. This movie is gonna rock! But, me living across the pond means that I have to wait another week or two before it shows up here in the movie theaters.. :(

Funny, I remember how many people (not necessarily any of the people here) whined and complained when it was announced that Heath Ledger had been given the role of Joker (maybe the same people that said Daniel Craig was too ugly to play Bond). It's nice to see that Nolan has been vindicated.

I want to see this, but am so sick of the trailer, I go to the movies a lot and ever since around February or March I've seen it every time! I practically have it memorized.

I can't wait to see it, though.

The trailers get sweeter and sweeter every time I watch them. Especially when the Joker laughs at the end, it's just BA.

God, I'm such a nerd. i just changed my theme and my profile image on my 360 into a Dark Knight theme. It looks so awesome, and I'm taking work off early to get a good seat for the midnight showing, so I'm pumped.

You know, as much I loved Jack Nicholson's Joker, this one looks like it'll blow even his portrayal out of the water.

I think it'll be a fitting tribute to Heath Ledger's career.

And as much as I like Heath Ledger, I know that that would darn-near impossible.

Can't touch Jack. ;)

I saw Gotham Knight yesterday. Other than the art, I found it vastly unimpressive. I liked the first segment, Have I Got a Story For You and thought the last two, Working with Pain was good. The second one and Deadshot were pretty decent as well. The remaining two I don't even remember to care. :/

What doesn't kill you makes you stranger. :xp:

Hehe... You too? :D

I guess we know what Kevin Michael Richardson's been up to. :D

Speaking of which, a few years back Kevin voiced the Joker in a show made only to promote Batman Begins. (The Batman, I believe)

Alas Ledger's last film. I must admit it will be eerie seeing him in his last role knowing he isn't around no more. If for nothing else i think people should watch the film as a tribute to such a great actor.

Daniel Craig........ugly

As a woman, I believe these words will never belong in the same sentence, ever.

As for TDK, I'm excited. I am going to see this somehow, even if I'm getting teeth pulled beforehand!

I'm stoked.

I try not to watch the trailers too much.

I like to let the imagery come from the film experience itself.

...but when Ledger's character hits the screen, I can't look away.

I love Nicholson, but this new Joker...

Wait 'till they get a load of him.

Today, at work, we had two screenings of The Dark Knight. Combined between the two, there were about 1000 or more people attending. The line to get into the theatre zigzagged through the lobby. Took about 5 mintues until the movies started to get everybody in.

Can't wait till tomorrow at midnight. :D
