Prime Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 So why not have Tom Brokaw tell you more about us? (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
mimartin Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Despite Celine Dion, America loves Canada too, after all you gave us Rush and April Wine.
Mav Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I don't really mind Canada, the only Canadian thing I object to is their idea of bacon, simply ridiculous.
Lynk Former Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Oh, Canada XD (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.) Warning: DO NOT click play if you're easily offended (and live inside a box cause you're too afraid of the world). If you do get offended, I don't care and neither should you.
Astor Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I don't know too much Canada. I didn't know that it was the US's largest Oil supplier, for instance. I also didn't know about the extraordinary effort and aid it provided in the aftermath of 9/11. I also agree with the sentiment that you can't get much better than a Canadian in a fight. Although, I'm not too sure about what Robin Williams thinks of Canada (PG-13 friendly version, BTW) - (This BBCode requires its accompanying plugin to work properly.)
adamqd Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 after all you gave us Rush This... and Jeff Healey RIP
Lord Foley Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Canada's a pretty cool guy. Eh speaks French and doesn't afraid of anything. At least in Quebec. When I was in Montreal for a week I went to some theme park and the English was just skewed enough to be funny: "Please hold yourself firmly." They also have Maple Syrup and a beaver surplus.
Shem Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Looks like our friends from Canada have forgotten about that hockey match the other day.
Q Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Despite Celine Dion, America loves Canada too, after all you gave us Rush and April Wine. And you can't forget Tom Green, though most of us wish that we could.
Jae Onasi Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Looks like our friends from Canada have forgotten about that hockey match the other day. I think they're trying to distract us so we won't remind them that the US BEAT them 5-3.
ChAiNz.2da Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I love the Canucks! big sloppy kisses and hugs. When I lived in Lansing (MI), there wasn't a time where I wasn't creeping past the borders every other week. Molson is MUCH better across the border.. I think you send us (US) the stuff you mop off the floor And you can't forget Tom Green, though most of us wish that we could. BTW, you can have Pamela Anderson back too
Prime Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 Looks like our friends from Canada have forgotten about that hockey match the other day. Oh, we haven't forgotten. We are full on into blaming Brodeur for the loss.
Samnmax221 Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Would Canada like to join us in sawing off Alaska so it will float away?
acdcfanbill Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 I don't really mind Canada, the only Canadian thing I object to is their idea of bacon, simply ridiculous. come now, have you ever had back bacon? it kicks serious ass! of course when it's just referring to regular sliced ham, then that's nothing special.
JediAthos Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 @Astor: lol only Robin Williams could have done that song in public and gotten a good response. I've never had any issues with Canada myself. Been there a couple of times and hung out with some of their navy folks when my ship was in Nova Scotia back in I think it was 2000, good times.

Canada takes on Russia tonight. We are coming for you America!
JediAthos Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Yes Prime, we were indeed in Halifax. I had a pretty good time. It was close to my birthday so the guys took me out, I went to see a hockey game, and played quite a bit of pool.
Spadille Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Bret Hart..... 'nuff said QFT + Edge/Adam Copeland
Commander Obi-Wan Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Oh, we haven't forgotten. We are full on into blaming Brodeur for the loss. That's why Luongo will remain in net for the rest of the Olympics. And Canada annihilated Russia 7-3. **** yeah.
Samnmax221 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Russia isn't good at anything, it should kill itself.
Darth Avlectus Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Russian food is ...decent... Anyway, Canadians are just our neighbors to the north is all. Dana-Long manufacturing made some awesome lineup of transmission oil coolers. I use them as a general forced-fluid cooling system for large laser projects--primarily Co2 lasers, computer components, stuff like dat. (Yes Jae, I wear the appropriate safety glasses for coherent infrared laser radiation @ 10.6 microns!) As for Tom Brokaw...
Lynk Former Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Thank leXX for finding this gem... http://www.askmen.com/daily/blogs/entertainment/canadians-respond-to-hockey-upset.html
