    • I think it's good.
    • I hate it...
    • Indifferent...
    • I just don't care...

This is a situation that has been evolving around in CEC...

So, quite frankly, how do you feel about inter-species love?

I, quite frankly, am indifferent, but i certainly don't want to see a female Chistori/male Human relation. :D

I bet this Thread has been inspired by one of my own Threads. Keeping on Topic, indifferent, because it is interesting, but I wouldn't be marrying a Rodian or even a Hutt. *Shudders at the thought*. Also the Thread Title is misleading...

I put "I think it's good".

Even though i have had next to zero, experience with people of this planet, i would love nothing more than to probe an alien species and study all aspects of cultural diversity. Even love. Back in my galaxies days, when i made the headlines as me and my Twi'lek bride sat in my house one afternoon, we discussed inter-species love. Both wondering at the appearance of a Twi'lek/Mon Calamari hybrid, we talked and then i realised this story isn't really going anywhere so i ended it.

Given the real life though. If we were living physically in the star wars universe, they are many (female) alien species alike that i would say 'Yes' to: -

Cathar (Most Definately)

Orryxian

Jazbinan

Glarsaur

Trandoshan

Mon Calamari (Priority)

Corellian

Kloodavian

Falleen (Most Definately)

Bimm

Lurrian

Mudgub

Nabooian

Nartian

Twi'lek

Zabrak

Serp

AND if your wondering why i said Mon Calamari, im guessing you never saw a cgi close up of the Mon Cals from the Zero-G water ballet from Episode 3. Yum!

I don't see why the title is misleading, but oh well.

Also, nice story Herbie!

@Hall: It's not exactly the same. Indifferent it's like, i dont' care as long as they have a happy life. I don't care is the above except they could die as long as he would care.

I think it's funny you have an 'I'm indifferent' option and an 'I don't care' option on the same poll.:)
Strange... I thought the same thing.

Heh, and knock her out. Part of a Twi'lek's brain is in their lekku, and pulling it hard enough can cause severe pain. :p
Useless Tidbit of Star Wars Knowledge: Tidbit #547 :xp:

As for my view on the actual topic question: I think I've explicitly stated my views of the Twi'lek species :naughty:

Also I belive it doesn't matter what we think, because it is a reality, in the Star Wars universe, Quilan Vos and his partner weren't of the same species, Aayla Secura and Kit Fisto were described as "close" and aren't of the same species. There are several other examples as well. Even in "our universe" there is inter-species "love" I'm sure most of you know what a mule is. But I'm sure certain... "combinations" are out of the question, some that come to mind... Hutt and Kaminoan, or what about Wookiee and Ewok :barf2:

I have fixed the thread title...

The whole "Ewww! An alien! Gross! Who would want that?" attitude is rather... unusual to me.

Especially in sci-fi the fact being that most 'alien' women have a habit of looking rather near-human to begin with.

Sci-fi has many interspecies relationships... In Star Trek our beloved Mr. Spock was half Vulcan/Human and this is just one example, Worf and Jadzia Dax, Neelix and Kes (I think that was her name). Babylon 5 had John Sheridan and Delenn, as well as G'Kar having a 'facination' for human females. Star wars is rife for this as well, it isn't something inappropriate or 'dirty'.

One cannot control who they fall in love with, love stories are filled with this point. So in a lived-in universe like Star Wars, where different races have co-existed for millenia, I would assume this is quite commonplace and far from taboo.
